Why a toothbrush? 

In an industry focussed on disposability, SURI was born out of a frustration with the lack of well-designed products across personal care today.

National Geographic estimates that at least one billion brushes are thrown away in the US alone each year. 

We’d add the ‘mind blown’ and ‘facepalm’ emojis but they don’t do the stats justice. That’s an outrageous amount of toothbrushes, and it really doesn't have to be this way.

So, how is our electric toothbrush different? 

We’ve re-designed it from top to bottom to be as future-focussed as possible. 

• Our revolutionary plant-based heads are made from cornstarch with soft bristles made from castor oil. Each set of heads comes with a pre-paid compostable mailer so you can send the heads back to us to recycle. 
• The sleek aluminium body is lightweight, durable and infinitely recyclable. And it's designed so we can open it up to recover, reuse and recycle the components. 
• Did we mention that it’s sleek? We’ve done away with excess tech and designed our brushes to be significantly smaller than most regular electric toothbrushes. No pointless gimmicky features, and it feels great in the hand.
