SURI Sustainable Electric Toothbrush

As with anything heavily (and annnoyingly) advertised on social media I assumed this toothbrush would be more style than substance. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how good it is. The only reason I give 4 starts rather than 5 is the lack of a USB charging port directly on the toothbrush and the need for a proprietary charger and the big chunky travel case. Other than that it really is a straight forward, no nonsense, well designed and pleasant to use toothbrush. Much prefer it to my old oral B toothbrush which was big, noisy and always looked gross.

Starting with the positive though- I love the size of the brush heads, their subscription plan is easy and doesn't ship with plastic. The brush is a great size, I like the options for strengths of cleaning vibrations. Wonderful brand and it's aesthetically pleasing.

Unfortunately i've gone through 3 Suri toothbrushes and my husband has gone through 2. We love to support the brand so we keep buying more but the problem is always with the charging area, one of the bottoms exploded because it was a little wet, the others just stopped charging after awhile. I take really good care of mine and dry it off after every use, I never put it on the charger wet (That I knew of)... my husband accidentally did for his once and that's why his broke.

But I think the charging system could use an update to where metal doesn't show on the outside making it more waterpoof kind of like how wireless charging with iphones/airpods work now.

My teeth and gums feel so clean and healthy after using the Suri Toothbrush. I appreciate the haptic timer that lets me know when to move to a different quadrant of my mouth. I also like the two speeds that allow for deeper cleaning. This is a great toothbrush!

Brushing my teeth used to be a chore, but my Suri has changed all that. Even after some 7 months, it still feels like a novelty as I run my to tongue over my teeth afterwards. I now look forward to using the new Suri toothpaste with it.

Adverts for Suri toothbrushes kept following me around across the various social platforms in that way that they do, and I was entirely prepared to ignore them - but then of course my old electric toothbrush broke, and I couldn't resist. Getting a Suri brush has been a revelation. I find its ultrasonic approach much easier to use than the rotating head style of my previous brush, and my teeth genuinely feel as clean as when my (ever-despairing) dentist uses his professional tools to pick out the plaque that's inevitably built up in crevices and the like. They're noticeably whiter too, and I'm not even using a whitening toothpaste! It's also just a really nice quality piece of kit - it's thinner than the traditional bulky electric toothbrushes and it just feels great to hold and made of premium materials. Battery life appears to be as amazing as they claim too. A very, very satisfied customer a couple of weeks in!
