To ensure our testing results reflect real-world brushing and not just lab performance, our brush was tested at Salus Research, a leading independent testing facility that works with many well-known dental brands.  

It was a 30-day, randomised, controlled, examiner-blind clinical trial—the benchmark study design used in oral care research. Participants were randomly assigned to different brushes, and results were assessed by independent examiners who didn’t know which brush was used.  

The study compared SURI to an ADA-accepted manual toothbrush and found it removed 100% more plaque after the first use, and delivered healthier gums in just 2 weeks.

Round brush heads only focus on one tooth at a time, whereas our slim, oblong head is shaped more like a manual toothbrush, so it covers more surface area at once and feels more familiar.  

If you’re switching from a round-headed brush, you might notice that SURI feels a little gentler on your teeth and gums—but it’s still a super-effective dentist-approved clean.
